Writers need readers!

Writers write . . . because they have stories screaming to be written.  They might want to stop...but they can't.  No matter what is happening... watching TV, at a restaurant, reading a book ~ the writer is alway at work.

It might be a simple word or a sentence ~ but the spark of an idea shows up.  The writer can't resist expanding ~ and an explosion of words fill the screen.  Give or take - 100,000 words later . . . a book is born.

~ On the other hand ~  a reader wants to escape.  A hard day, kids that she loves are roudy and demanding, husband is tired and on his way to bed!  A book. . .the suspense, the romance, the unexpected . . .the pages turn . . . and turn . . . and the story unravels.  She relaxes and realizes she's ready for a new day to start!

Both writer and reader are happy, satisfied, and ready to start the cycle all over again!  Such is the life of a writer and reader.  We need each other to complete the cycle.

I can't stop writing . . . and I hope you can't stop reading!
