DAUGHTERS OF THE LAND is  collection of stories avout Native American women who helped civilize the west.  The story I provided is about an incredible Blackfoot woman called Grass Woman.

Mary Ground's (Grass Woman) memories of her life and traditional Indian ways were so varied and had contributed so much to the understanding of Native American Heritage.  She told visitors "Come Back; better make it soon.  The snow is getting deeper each winter.  I fear I see again the tail of the last buffalo."

WHISPERING SUN: New Territory of Montana 1863. Sarah Bryson's silent world takes a jolting change when she is kidnapped from Fort Bryson and finds herself rescued by Blackfeet warrior, Two Shadows.  Together they confront ruthless mountain men, bear, treacherous mountain storms and Crow Indians.

Two Shadows struggles when his loyalties become divided between the love for a white woman and his devotion to his Indian people.

WHISPERING SUN captures a time when the Blackfeet are forced to see their way of life disappear.  It’s a story where it’s possible for a white woman to decide she belongs with a loving people and a Blackfeet warrior.  It’s a story that shows how a half-breed can choose an alliance and find his place in a colliding world.    www.uncialpress.com

WIND SONG ~ In 1855, the Great Spirit sends Leota, a psychic Blackfoot woman, on a mission to convince Chief Lame Bull not to sign a treaty. If she fails, the white man's government will steal all that belongs to the Blackfeet Nation.

Marsh Pepperhorn, a 'greenhorn' lawyer, comes west to join his family and finds them all murdered, except for his mouthy nephew Tanner, who's bent on revenge.  They chase the killers into the Mountains of the Bear's Paw, Montana Territory, where Tanner is injured and their paths across Leota's.

Although Marsh and Leota distrust each on sight, they work together to save Tanner’s life. As they face hardships and overcome challenges, an unlikely romance blossoms between them. When traders abduct Leota, Marsh must rescue her and bring the men to justice, or lose the woman he loves.

A sweeping tale of a changing culture, survival, discovery, adventure, and romance—WIND SONG has it all.     http://eternalpress.com.au/
